Tomorrow! With studio owner Susan Whitaker Susan has been a yoga practitioner for over 40 years. She was drawn to yoga by her love of movement and curiosity about healing the body. With a strong background in Kripalu Yoga and Yoga Therapy, Susan has continued to study the art of yoga so that she can be in an ongoing state of evolution and service. She has also studied shamanic practice for over 10 years and is thrilled to combine these embodied healing arts, creating Soul Journey yoga. Come join us this Saturday, October 13 from 10am-2pm for a community day of yoga, dance, and open mic in celebration and to raise funds for the Lakota People’s Law Project. LPLP engages in ongoing efforts to reclaim ancestral lands, and to stop all threats to Lakota land and resources. We believe that Native peoples possess inherent sovereignty and the right to autonomous rule and self-determination. The Lakota flourished for centuries before Europeans arrived on these lan...ds, and their tradition of living in relation to all things is more important today than ever before.
