To our loyal customers, family and friends, 13 months ago we took a leap of faith, bought a restaurant, and became a part of Downtown Hanford. A year ago today we celebrated our "Grand Re-opening", serving over 275 customers in one day. Since then we have built a great loyal base of customers, that came in and dined with us. We have come to know so many of you, as you have come to know us. You have driven from Bakersfield, Coalinga, Tulare, Visalia and even the Central Coast... to enjoy our food that we poured our heart and soul into. For that we have been truly blessed. It's with a very heavy heart that I now tell you, that we have closed The Smoke Joint BBQ as you've come to know it this last year, due to circumstances beyond our control. Although listing the many reasons may be cathartic to me, they would simply overshadow the immense gratitude and love that we feel for all of you that have supported us.
