California FINALLY submitted its industrial hemp plan to the USDA, and just in time to allow our hemp farmers to avoid registration with the USDA come October 1, 2020. Better late than never! The full Plan is available on the CDFA website under industrial hemp.

Our latest round of comments on the social equity process in Los Angeles. We are making progress, but don’t want to prevent the owners from realizing the true benefits of ownership: the ability to sell at fair market value. #losangeles #socialequity @ Cannabis Corporate Law Firm
Corona is hosting a study session on cannabis issues and their proposed draft ordinance. Please join us to support widespread cannabis legalization throughout Southern California. The current proposal is to allow for all commercial cannabis activities EXCEPT cultivation. This means the City will be ineligible for state assisted enforcement. The current recommendation is for 17 storefront retailers and no cap on the remaining activities. Come say, high and introduce you...rself if you attend. See you there! .. Thank you to everyone who supported one of our favorite clients @beauty2thestreetz in less than 5 days they were able to raise enough money to purchase a much needed sprinter van to deliver the donations to the homeless on skid row. Special thank you to @mileycyrus and @happyhippiefdn for their generosity.

Commercial cannabis is finally up for consideration in #Anaheim. The Council intends to put the issue to the voters on the #November2020ballot. We think they should expedite the process and obtain voter approval on the only the taxation issue in November. The Ordinance as drafted confers enormous discretion and authority to the City Manager and does not contain an equity component. Anaheim can do better. * * * 20 of each license are available for retail, indoor cultivation..., distribution and manufacturing. The same owners may hold up to 3 of each license. This will be a merit-based process, rewarding prior operations and experience and demonstration of Anaheim community benefits. * * * The #AnaheimCityCouncil is set to consider approval in a three-step process toward legalizing. Including taxing and regulating commercial cannabis distribution, manufacturing, cultivation, retail sales, deliveries and testing laboratories at the June 9, 2020 regular meeting, * * * The three motions are: 1. Approval of a city ordinance allowing commercial cannabis in Anaheim, including detailed regulations. 2. A #ballot initiative to implement a tax on cannabis businesses approved by voters in the Nov. 3, 2020 election. 3. Development of an application process and selection criteria for businesses that wish to open and operate in Anaheim. * * * It is important to note that both the #AnaheimPoliceDepartment and the #AnaheimFireDepartment support legalization in this city. * * * Now it is up to the citizens to show to the council Anaheim deserves regulated cannabis businesses. Make your voice heard and please encourage the City of Anaheim to adopt a reasonable cannabis policy by submitting public comments to [email protected] and [email protected] #cityofanaheim #cannabis #retail #cultivation #manufacturing #testing #distribution #cannabisdistribution #cannabiscultivation #cannabismanufacturing #cannabisdispensary #anaheimdispensary #cannabislaw #california #californiacannabis #normlorangecounty #norml #lbca #AnaheimPD #AnaheimFD

Congratulations to our friends at @dama.financial This is the only financial services company we are comfortable recommending to our clients. Now all licensees in the City of Los Angeles will have the ability to pay taxes using their cash through Dama’s CashToTax system. But why stop there? Did we mention retailers can also provide cash payment alternatives for in store purchases? Swipe for the details and use CISNEROS as your referral code so they know we sent you!
