Calling ALL Camp Moki families - we are starting a meal train for the Green family as they are facing some medical challenges in their family and we want to help in the best way we can right now. Please consider making a meal or donating a gift card to help. Feel free to contact me should you have any questions. Thank you in advance. I know times are challenging for you all and we are working on ways to lighten the load as we speak, ... So much love...... https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/wk34e1
CAMP FAMILIES! We are offering FREE Virtual Music Classes via the DDJF foundation. This is an amazing opportunity for your child to learn the fundamentals of music while having a fun time with our team! All classes are on ZOOM! Message us if you want to get involved.
We are very pleased to announce that together with our partner East LA Rising, we have been granted a very generous grant by the city of Vernon, CA to develop and implement a college prep program for at risk and minority youth which will include college prep classes, self esteem building classes, healthy relationship classes, and music and art therapy classes. Although we will be virutal (for now) we are very excited to develop a model that combines college prep classes with mental health programs to give our young adults a strong foundation in which they can build their future. Camp families! As a Holiday gift to you, we will pay for the first month of Go Kids. YOU MUCH HAVE ATTENEDED CAMP to qualify.
Things were different this year but the need was great! A HUGE thank you to those that donated and to our partner East LA for taking care of so many families.
And Round 2 of our Camp SoCal HeArts/Camp Reddy Holiday Toy Drive Shopping begins! This year just seems so much more important to our team and we are excited to make the holidays a little brighter to families whose lives have been affected by COVID and especially those families that have lost a parent or caregiver.
