Hello, I am absolutely HEARTBROKEN. I have worked so very hard on this project. I am sick to my stomach kind of sad. I just received news that the Diocese has pulled the plug on the Chapel Christmas Concerts due to the recent State Mandates. I have left a link below.... It clearly mandates parameters that can not be met for the Christmas concerts. Preceding with these Concerts will put the Chapel, the Diocese and The Squibb House in a very liable position. The Diocese is adhering to the state mandates and ultimately and legally the Chapel falls under their umbrella. There are a few alternatives that I can see: (after you think about this, please let me know what you would like me to do) 1. We WAIT to see IF things open up in the next 4 weeks 2. Those of you who have bought tickets for these shows will be on the (Already Paid) Concert list for a SPRING/SUMMER 2021 Fundraiser or whenever it is allowed again. 3. Your money is refunded through 805Tix I have shut the ticketing site down so that nobody else can purchase tickets, but all of the lists of folks who bought them are still active and I can access them anytime. Mandates: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC I will always keep you up to date. This is now completely beyond anything that anyone can do. For now, we will just hope for better times and that our little Chapel can survive. It is suffering so much and has run out of money. Yes, It is true....Cambria Concerts Unplugged will be co-producing a few LIVE, IN PERSON, OUTDOOR, SOCIALLY DISTANCED CONCERTS on a half acre parcel at this new privately owned fabulous venue in Cambria. Yesterday's concert at "The Pines in Cambria. I wanted to offer a blessing of this beautiful land that we got to play on. I have been practicing hard on the bas...s flute that I have borrowed from a friend. I am having one made for me to continue my studies in the music for healing and transitions program.
