Cambria Connection 30.01.2021

The Cambria Connection board of directors hopes everyone can have the best holiday possible under these trying circumstances. The Connection remains closed for now, but we are planning to open up as soon as we can. We just want everyone to know that we are still here and will be here when everything opens up again. Also thanks to everyone for their ongoing support!... Stevan Rosenlind President Cambria Connection

Free Cambria Food Distribution June 9th. Working with our wonderful SLO Food Bank, the Cambria Connection is hosting a free "drive-by" food distribution for our kids. Bags of breakfast staples and produce will be given out from the parking lot next to the old Grammar School at 1350 Main Street from 2 PM to 4 PM (or until supplies of 65 bags of each run out). Just drive in and one of our volunteers will hand you the bags or put them in your car -- no strings attached! Please ...send an email at [email protected] if there are questions we can answer about this free food distribution for kids. Stevan Rosenlind Cambria Connection

Hello everyone. We hope you all are safe and healthy. It looks like the Connection will continue to be closed at least until June as far as holding meeting are concerned.. We continue to sponsor Zoom meetings We have made some changes though out of economic necessity. In the future, all meetings will be in the main room (the one closest to the driveway). We are in the process of re-processing that room and expect it will be an absolutely beautiful and spacious place for meet...ings. Please feel free to contact me directly through this page if you have any questions at all.

Hello everyone: The Cambria Connection has started a Zoom Pro online meeting room that is free for local 12-step groups for one-hour meetings or longer. If you are a group secretary and would like to move your meetings online and use this resource, please feel free to contact me for more information. Also, I'd like to start a directory of any local 12-step online meetings to post on the Connection Facebook Page. Please contact me with that information if you'd so like.

Cambria Connection 28.10.2020

To all my Cambria Connection friends. I am sad to announce that the Connection will be closed from Tuesday until April 1, at least. We are doing this to comply with the dictates of county and state health officials that request small meetings be postponed or canceled unless attendees can stay 6 feet apart (impossible in the Connection meeting rooms). Please let all our mutual friends know. It is my recommendation that we all honor each other's health by doing everything we ca...n to stop the spread of this virus. I believe this will get much worse before it gets better and we all need to do what we can to break the cycles of infection -- even if it's a pain in the butt or personally inconvenient. This is especially important in our community where there are so many potential vulnerable folks. Let's start now! Meanwhile if you or someone you know needs the assistance that our many programs offer, please contact me and I will assist you or find someone who can. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all about the Cambria Connection or this notice. Stevan Rosenlind President Cambria Connection
