THIS SUNDAY we are thrilled to have guest speaker, Attorney Moseley Collins!!! Check out his website moseleycollins.com! Here is a quick quote from his website about his team of Christian lawyers! . And each person is committed to give God the glory. At Mosely Collins Law we not only want to be a law firm that wins cases for badly injured people, but also a law firm that feeds thousands of hungry children, teaches the Bible every day on the radio, and helps rescue kids from ...sex slavery. . You DO NOT want to miss what he has to say on this ever-important Palm Sunday!!!! #sacramentoattorney #guestspeaker #expert #calvaryrosevilleca #churchisessential #jesusislord See more

From King James, Jesus said, He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

We all loved Chris and Emily explain to us all how to pack an #operationchriatmaschild box this morning. No scary toys! The flyer put out by #samaritanspurse is brilliant for first time or novice box packers. Tune into our YouTube channel (calvarychapelroseville) to see the presentation as well as Kens message on the middle of the book of Jude. #sundaymorningservice #calvaryrosevilleca #childrensministry #jesuslovesyou

Sometimes in the whirlwind of everyday life, even when it’s busy or overloaded with doing the Lords work, we need to pause and reflect on this truth. #amazinggrace

Our soundboard and projection crew hard at work wrapping it up last Sunday. Behind the scenes, any two of theses four saints are always trying to keep up with Pastor Ken’s fast-paced jumping around the Bible and also sometimes multiple unexpected technical difficulties before and during worship. They deserve a lot of credit for pulling it all together each Sunday. Let’s give them a big Thank You!!!!!

October’s Sheep of the Week is our very own Edgar Medina!!! Below is his testimony I was born in Venezuela in 1951. At the age of eight my mother was able to send for me to live with her in the US. I could go into a lot of details about my memories of living in Venezuela and my transition to living in the United States. I prefer to say praise God that He delivered me. Once again the good Lord was in my corner and I became a distance runner all through junior high school ...and high school. My running became my way to escape the turmoil in my life. In fact, some of my deepest conversations with God took place during early morning runs. God revealed the truth to me and by the time I started junior high school, I received Jesus as my savior. My conversion was real and sincere, however, due to my immaturity and dysfunction in my home. I was not grounded in my faith. Right after my graduation from high school I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Approximately six months later, I was a combat infantry Marine in Vietnam. I became very angry at God and I emerged myself in the things of the world. I was a prisoner to my flesh, and I deceived myself into thinking that I was free and having a good time. Nothing was off limits, sex, alcohol and drugs were my constant companion. Fortunately, God was merciful and I never got into any serious trouble. Well, I learned the hard way that rebelling against God has consequences. I endured two failed marriages and to this day I still struggle with post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression. However, I am not alone. God has blessed me with a wonderful Christian wife that I have been married to for over thirty years. Our children are adults and out on their own. Our youngest, Daniel is serving in the Marine Corps and our daughter, Jenna is living in Colorado. My family and I have been attending CCR regularly since about 2006. I served as a greeter for over a year. I still volunteer to help in setting up for special events in the church and have volunteered at the fireworks booth. My wife, Marianne, has been working the sound booth and projector for quite a long time. I thank God for the many blessings that I have received being part of such an awesome body of believers. Praise be to God Almighty.
