A new Winter Cal Tradition is here! On December 12th, we will be holding our first annual winter celebration called "Happy Calidays!" This year, Happy Calidays will be a drive through event for you an your family to enjoy. There will be lights, lights, and more lights! Registration for the event is now open using the following link: https://forms.gle/qaHUVQTosihmUVWA6 . Registration is $10 per car and will include entry and a t-shirt. You will only receive 1 t-shirt per regi...stration so if you'd like to purchase more than one t-shirt, you will need to register accordingly. Please adhere to the time slot that you register for as this is an important component in meeting the Sac County COVID safety guidelines. This is going to be a big event and we will need as much parent and community support as possible to pull it off. You can help out in two ways. First, we will need volunteers to help with set up the day of December 12th. Any time that you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers will need to strictly adhere to all safety and social distancing guidelines. In addition to volunteers, we will need to rely heavily on item donations. Cal Middle Cookbooks are here! Pre-order yours from Nov. 9-13th. Cash or check made out to CMS can be dropped off at the front office between 1-2pm everyday except Wednesday. This year’s cookbook will feature about 150 recipes submitted by students in this year’s Culinary Arts classes, plus staff and curriculum recipes.

Reminder: Virtual Back to School Night is tonight starting at 5:30pm!

Due to extremely poor air quality, the district has directed all school sites to cancel any outdoor activities today. As a result, we are CANCELLING our scheduled textbook distribution. Instead, we will implement a walk up textbook distribution system next week during the following hours: Monday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Tuesday - Friday: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM When you arrive, please come to the door of the front office. We are asking that everyone wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of distance. If you can come prepared with your student's ID number, first and last name, and elective pre-written on a piece of paper, that will help us to distribute textbooks as efficiently as possible.

Cal Middle School Schedule! Please note we have adjusted our Monday schedule to align better with our free lunch pick up time. All students will be asked to check into ALL periods on Mondays.

Info on Material Pick Up Week (Sept 7-Sept. 11). You will receive textbooks and other school materials that you’ll need for this school year. Pick up times are based on your last name.

Friends and families, please consider supporting the CKM LPPA Non-profit program by purchasing your fireworks this year from our fireworks (fundraiser) booth at the Safeway Market, located at the corner of Alhambra/K. Street (south/west parking lot), starting Sunday, June 29th July 4th. Our hours of operation will be from 10:30 AM until 8:00 PM each day, with the possibility of staying until 10:00 PM on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday July 4th.
