We're going to change our name from CalHEP to the "Katie Burk Fan Club! This is great stuff coming out of End Hep C SF and the Drug User Health Initiative from SFDPH. Katie's leadership, a committed health department and a remarkable amount of buy-in and hard work from people who use drugs (PWUD), community advocates and harm reductionists has resulted in a wonderful model for providing care for PWUD. This is what can happen when a friendly department of public health partners with community!
