This package sure is pretty, isn’t it? But it’s not mine. I stole it from Google. Why? I would like to talk about packaging, and the immense stress consumerism has had on our Mother Earth. ... Am I guilty of it too? Absolutely. This post isn’t about shame- it’s just an explanation of the choices I make in my business to try to offset this just a little bit. What I’m getting at is that my packages don’t all look like this when you order online, because I choose to reuse the seemingly endless amount of plastic and synthetic packaging that I receive in the mail from all my supplies. I have even called these companies to request less plastic and paper options, many to no avail (although props to @doterra, I noticed you guys ditched the plastic in 2020!) If I ever do run out (which is rare), I buy compostable boxes, mailers and stuffing. I haven’t bought a bubble wrap roll since 2011 I just wanted to express to you all that I value this more than picture perfect packages. I believe that when you order my products, you understand the importance that our choices have on the environment around us. Even though it may feel like a small impact, If I can save 500 plastic mailers filled with styrofoam per year from going into the landfill- heck yes I’ll do it! When I buy my bottles, almost all of them are glass and metal. Even my labels are biodegradable! and of course as always, no harmful ingredients are EVER in my skincare and health products. So thank you for not only shopping with my small, Women-Owned business- but you’re also shopping Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Save your wrapping and packaging this holiday, folks! We are now totally touch-free at our markets. I’ve been using this cool device for a while now to accept Apple Pay and credit cards, but I have disabled signatures so now nobody has to touch anybody else’s stuff! We take Venmo as well, which only requires a scan from phone-to-phone.
