Our Youth Policy Committee would like to thank Hill Country Medical Clinic for their donations to our Freebie Boxes! These bins will go in the student restrooms here at CHYBA, for anyone to take items they may be needing- a new toothbrush, feminine hygiene products, bars of soap, chapstick, hair ties, etc.

Good morning CHYBA Family, This is principal Martinez with a short message regarding school today. Because of current snow and road conditions, we will transition to Distance Learning today. Please help your students engage in their learning (Edgenuity) to the best of their abilities. Teachers and school staff will be available remotely during the day and during their regularly scheduled Zoom sessions to offer academic help. Giving Caltrans and the city of Redding a day to c...lear our roads, we expect to be open and back on campus tomorrow. Thank you for supporting CHYBA.

California Heritage YouthBuild Academy has worked hard to remain in face to face instruction. We have numerous hand sanitizing stations, temperature checks at the door, an isolation room, barriers at every student desk. Chromebooks and desks are wiped down daily, and we hired a person to sanitize all high-touch areas nightly. We strongly believe that our students deserve and thrive in face to face interaction. We have a superperb construction program that relies on having staff and students on site. We are experiencing a trend of students wearing masks improperly or not wearing them at all. We would like to ask our parents, guardians, and adults to encourage our students to please wear masks correctly. Please help us keep our staff and students in school!
