Congratulations to the Adelanto ACTION Youth and the city of Adelanto for being the first city in the Inland-Empire to adopt a comprehensive TRL policy!

Thank you to the Tobacco Coalition of California Health Collaborative and Merced Walks volunteers for helping us to decorate Merced in red for Red Ribbon Week! ...We were able to collect 5 buckets and one wagon full of trash over the course of our trip. Special thanks to 76 Gas Station at 2104 G St, Merced, CA 95340 for letting us empty our trash in your dumpster and providing us with soft drinks for a recharge! Red Ribbon starts next week! LGBTQ communities use tobacco at higher rates than the general population. We need services that are provided by our communities and designed to address the und...erlying causes of tobacco use, such as homophobia, transphobia, minority stress, and unmet mental health needs. This morning we held a joint press conference in Fresno with APPEAL - Asian Pacific Partners for Empowerment, Advocacy and Leadership, California Health Collaborative, Hispanic Latino Coordinating Center, ETR, and the Fresno County Public Health Department to address tobacco-related disparities among underserved communities in California.
