Yes, Cakes Makes Me is gtting ready for the bake sale and cookie decorating parties for kids over the weekend. #BaketoDefeatALS Please stop by at 1000 Kiely Blvd, Santa Clara 95051 on Friday 4.30 pm onwards and Saturday for pick ups only in Fremont, and support us while you #eattodefeatALS. We will have gourmet caramel popcorn, caramel chocolate popcorn, almond chocolate cracks, cupcakes and decorated sugar cookies including back to school and paint your own cookies, and our special highlight DOG TREATS, 100% proceeds will be donated to ALS association!! The sweetest Collaboration i have seen and something very close to my heart. Diwali for me is the happiest festival, when i moved to US in 2008, i missed the grand Diwali celebration we used to have back home. We didnot celebrate much that year, coz i felt so lonely. And the very next year i realized, we can't miss it any more, we have to celebrate it here, cherishing the memories of past, and we have to make it bigger and grander, so much so that we don't get the missing fee...ling anymore. And since then, We celebrate Diwali here with all friends and its lot of joy and fun!! These cakes just made my day. All day long, i kept coming back to the laptop, coz i just can't stop adoring thm. Thank you all the amazing bakers!! I am sure, u made the day for many like me. I haven't been doing much in this beautiful year of 2014, as i am enjoying spending my time with my little one, every minute of it....but just a few small requests i did for some special friends or customers!! It helps me keep longing to go back and be in touch with my love of baking decorating!! Soon he will be engorssed in him world and i will have a lot more time to invest in my passion!! Thank you for supporting me in always!!

We have an exciting news, we are moving to a bigger home soon...which means hopefully more space to keep the little one occupied, so maybe i can bake more again!! HOpefullly!!! EXCITED!
