Join us at 9am PT today for an engaging conversation with Bob Babbitt and CAF ambassador, Ella Rodriquez. Ella’s Christmas wish as a child to have other amputee friends like her resulted in a connection with CAF. Born with a club foot which led to a below knee amputation, it was through sport that Ella found confidence, fitness, peers, and community. A CAF travel grant led her to wheelchair basketball and has earned her opportunities to attend development camps at the Olympic... Training Center. An incredible multisport athlete, Ella participated on her high school track & field team last year during her freshmen year. She posted qualifying standards and attended the CIF State Championship Track & Field Meet and placed in many events. Ella is now a mentor for younger athletes and CAF ambassador.
