Looks like the powers that be have allowed us to open. We will begin indoor dining on Tuesday the 19th. Regular hours 5-9pm. We have a new menu. See you then.

Hello friends and family. HAPPY New Year and thank goodness. It has been a difficult year. Besides the pandemic, the politics and the death of my father I have been forced to jeopardize my business that has taken me forty years to build. Thankfully this community has done its best to support the café and we are grateful for all of that support. We will enter 2021 with a renewed sense of hope and purpose. We wish that we could open tonight and have a huge party. This however would not solve the problem. It truly only makes it worse. The highly selective rules that have been put in place for our safety are not enforced equally. While some businesses are not forced to enforce the rules others are threatened with fines and suspension of permits. We have all been let down by our elected officials. God bless. The Cafe on Main will no longer communicate on or update our Facebook page. We do this because of love. Love of our job, love of our community and love for the craft. We are closed for dine in only. We will be open for take out food, wine and cocktails on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 to 8pm. This will be our schedule until the powers that be allow us to open. Sorry for any confusion.

Just so you know, the state has determined that I must sacrifice my business and close [in-door dining]. However the county does not think it should force Holiday, cvs or Ace to wear masks. Why? These are places that our entire community visit. What happen to follow the science? It seems more like we are following the politics.
