Foxtails don’t just get in feet and ears! This is our lovely patient Bailey. She had a few days of not feeling well and then developed a cough. We diagnosed a lung mass on X-ray which turned out to be a large abscess. Bailey was referred for specialized surgery - she had her chest opened and a portion of her lung removed to get the abscess out. In the center of the abscess was a foxtail she had inhaled. We are wishing her a safe and speedy recovery.
