Today is the pre-school coop. The library staff created this bowling alley for the kids. While it’s no longer Halloween, the kids still love it.

The October book sale is on today until 3:30 pm. The children’s hardback books and the young adult books are new donations and would make great gifts. And check out the new mystery and romance titles

Rudolf has morphed into a turkey and invites all the kiddies, their moms, dads & grandparents to the Pre-School Coop on Thursday, 10 - 1 at the library. This last Thursday the community room was the locale for a wonderful luncheon honoring our vets but will be available again this coming Thursday to the coop with new toys, books and crafts .

Here is Martin Sanderson, President of the Friends of the Library, giving his welcoming address at our annual Veterans Day luncheon,along with a story about an arrest he made in a Florida where the assailant fell in a manhole, plus a few photos of a great group of veterans with their families and friends. There’s even a live video!

With the help of the library the preschool coop is growing. As you can see from the photos there is a Mother Goose story time for the little ones and even the moms are enjoying themselves. Reminder: this is a coop and the staff cannot watch our children. Parents or grandparents must be present at all times . Thursdays 10am-1pm in the Community room (we no longer meet at the swings)
