C7 Concepts

Another original design and exclusive mold for C7 Concepts....Venturing out from handcycle specific wheels, this TriSpoke Carbon tubular wheel is for a Racing Chair. Designed in conjunction with Krige Schabort, along with input from other wheelchair racers. The prototype weighs significantly less than the commonly used Corima wheel (~70g lighter). When including Corima’s spokes and hub, the TriSpoke has a similar overall surface area (side profile) compared to the Corima. What the C7 TriSpoke doesn’t have are spokes acting like egg beaters in the wind. The outer rim depth is reduced to 35mm for optimal handling. Note: When wind tunnel testing wheels, the majority of the time, the wheels are static (not rotating), so the egg beater effect of the spokes isn’t accounted for.

The newest addition to the ever expanding C7 Concepts wheel line, a super aero 80mm deep, 650c wheel. The rim is designed by and exclusive to C7 Concepts (proprietary mold). Arriving late August, available in clincher or tubular. @ C7 Concepts
