To avoid becoming a target of cybercrime and its costly consequences, we encourage you to devote more time and resources to information technology (IT) and cybersecurity. What you can do to stay protected:... Protect your network with a firewall, change the default name to your own, and its password to something lengthy that’s hard to guess. Get an IT expert who manages and keeps inventory of digital assets, software updates, and user access. Train all employees on IT, cybersecurity, data protection, and fraud prevention. Use only reputable third-party services and familiarize yourself with their cybersecurity procedures. If personal devices are used for work, use only company-approved apps for work-related tasks, such as email.
