One day, when we can go back to normal it’s going to be interesting for us to find our flow. This crew has never experienced serving in ceramics here, or having people get their own sugars and cream. We might not choose to go back to how we did things before.. we may just decide to find a new way. Guess we will see @hellobrandonscott

We need to clarify today, because this was all taken to a place where we never intended it to go. Everyone’s emotions are high right now, and we empathize with that. Nothing was ever meant to be political, this was all a reaction to what Lawmakers and experts are calling a domestic terrorist attack. If businesses are not respecting covid guidelines, and have their health permits taken away - they should not be operating under any circumstance. Rules and regulations need to be... respected so ALL of us can get out of this safely and continue to do business, simple as that. We want to get back to coffee and merch just as much as you want us to we are human after all, sometimes we don’t make the perfect move. We apologize to anyone hurt by something we reposted, as it was not our intention to do so and of course we understand where those feelings come from. Almost a year into this mess, all of us are sick of everything... we’re on the same damn page.

Was anyone anticipating what we might have to say this morning? Yesterday was terrifying, but one positive we can get out of it would be that finally we have clear and unmistakable proof of white supremacy in our country (as if it wasn’t obvious before?!) We don’t need to dig too deep into that, but what we should talk about is our own county.. yeah? Monterey County, why is the Tuck Box and Aloha cafe still allowed to be open? Why were they given months and month of warni...ngs? What’s the point of taking away permits and handing out fines if they can continue to be open without further consequence? They are putting our county in danger, they don’t give a fuck about safety and we are starting to feel that neither does this county. These businesses are literally rubbing it in your faces that they can do whatever they want! Would they be able to if they were black? Would they be able to if they were young and in support of BLM? We know damn well the truth. Let’s not forget the PG officer who has CLEARLY supported the same people that stormed the capitol yesterday is still on paid leave. This county is STILL wasting money on a second investigation that was easily done within one day on the internet. Then there was a protest outside the PGPD in support of this officer too, no one wearing masks and no one getting fined. Similar protests at Windows by the Bay, no masks.. no fines, and apparently no problem! Oh and remember that Hummer that we recorded pushing us off the highway? Still NOTHING from the CHP, it’s been over 2 months. WHAT. A. JOKE. White supremacy lives, happy as ever. We need to dismantle this shit now, who’s with us and where do we start? DM’s welcome
