Meet my friends @diamondraeann12 & @thejollydodger88 ! I was introduced to and entrusted with them by my very own family (this honor always comes with an added level of pressure to make sure they are well cared for and that I live up to the expectations). These two love birds are Oxnard’s newest home owners. Although 2020 has been a trying year to say the very least, this year has also brought important milestones and blessings for this beautiful couple. They wed in June and... purchased their first property all in the same month! Diamond is an elementary school teacher in the city of Oxnard and Adrian is an Air Force veteran. They are both Oxnard natives and excellent examples of hardworking, honest, and kind people. In short, they make Oxnard proud and we need more people like them in our communities. Diamond and Adrian presented me with a very unique challenge particularly in this sellers’ market in which we find ourselves: A property came on the market just a few doors down from their best friends’ house and they made it clear that they MUST have this home. No if’s, and’s, or but’s! So, I got to work. Even though this became a multiple offer situation, we were able to put together an aggressive and creative offer that would give us a higher probability of acceptance. Fast forward to today, and we made it to the finish linemasks, social distancing, and all. Every time we embark on a house hunting journey, it’s clear to me that consumers, clients, and friends have a lot of choices when electing the real estate professional to accompany and counsel them during this important journey.
