Business Connections is back in session! We had a few weeks off, but we’re back in action and have had two excellent Featured Speakers. First, we had our new President, Dr Taylor J Levine, DC of Unruh Spine Center, give an educational pop quiz on Chiropractic work. Last week, Lindsay Helen Schlick of SchlickArt taught us the best tactics for taking a beautiful group picture. It was a wonderful start to our new term and we’re so excited for the months to come!

He showed us a great example of his tracking model that can help you plan for retirement by forecasting your income shortfall or surplus. He’s the perfect financial professional to guide you through saving for retirement and filling those shortfalls! #MotivationMonday

Last #WisdomWednesday, William Friedman was our Featured Speaker. He reviewed recent changes to tax laws and discussed how they might impact us as business owners. It was an enlightening and educational presentation for all!

It's #WisdomWednesday again! Last week we had the lovely Jill Cynthia Friedman of Wild Flour Gourmet Baking Company as our Featured Speaker. She gave us a demonstration of how she makes her incredible Great Balls of Chocolate Chip Cookie Balls and brought fresh samples for the group! It truly was a delicious presentation!

Shoutout to last weeks Featured Speaker, Jennifer Chadwick from Salt Creek Grille Valencia! Salt Creek hosts our weekly meetings and they do a wonderful job every #WisdomWednesday! Last week we got to hear about their event catering and had the unique opportunity to preview the cocktails on their summer menu - these new drinks launched on June 1st. Yum!

We had such a great #BusinessConnections meeting last week with our two Featured Speakers! Isaiah Talley talked about the many services that Copper Eagle Santa Clarita has to offer as well as the extensive training that their employees go through. Our other speaker was also our newest member, Nola Aronson of Advanced Audiology! She weighed in on the #YannyorLaurel debate, talked about the importance of establishing your hearing baseline, and told some incredible success stories that show that even a little adjustment can go a long way with your hearing! It was definitely a great meeting and an enlightening #WisdomWednesday!

The last two weeks have been full of wonderful presentations! Last #WisdomWednesday, Veronica Acquaviva spoke about how she customizes her massages to the needs of her clients and how even the lightest touch can make a huge difference in the way you feel! This week, Kevin Ker of Augusta Financial gave a presentation on the ins and outs of how your credit score is calculated! They were both amazing Featured Speakers and we are excited about continuing to learn more from our members in the weeks to come! #ThrowbackThursday

Thank you to Hillary Broadwater of QM Design Group for being our Featured Speaker this #WisdomWednesday! She gave us a great presentation and tons of great tips on working with a Graphic Designer. #BestNetworkingGroup

Whoever said business and friendship don’t mix obviously wasn't a member of #BusinessConnections... We had such an awesome time this weekend at our Spring Social! Thank you to our Social Chair, Taylor Levine DC, for planning this event and thank you to LA Beer Hop for taking us to some amazing LA Breweries!

We had such a wonderful meeting today with Kristina de Bree, MA, LMFT as our Featured Speaker! She gave an amazing presentation on Workplace Stress and Mental Health, complete with information on signs of depression and anxiety as well as actions to take. It was such an enlightening and educational #WisdomWednesday!

#FlashbackFriday to our Featured Speaker from Wednesday's meeting: Andrew Smith of Solar With Zero Down! He gave an enlightening presentation on the benefits of Solar Power, for both the environment and your wallet!
