Business owners who have 50 or more employees need to remember to conduct sexual harassment training at least every two years and within six months of hiring a supervisor or promoting a person to supervisor.

If you have an LLC it is a good idea to have a written operating agreement and to keep annual minutes, even though it is not required by law. This is becuase trial courts are applying the rules of corporation's to LLC's when it comes to personal liability for LLC debt and it will continue unless and until the appellate court rules otherwise.

There are three types of notice when it comes to real property: 1) recorded notice (recorded in the county recorders office where the land is located); 2) acutal notice (just like it sounds); and 3) inquiry notice (you have reason to know, but you are not sure - in this case you must inquire to make sure).

If you have notice of a lien against property you are buying, you could be buying the property subject to the lien, EVEN IF THE LIEN IS NOT RECORDED AGAINST THE PROPERTY!
