Restored sewing machine, "before" and "after",.. looks brand new!

I have worked on a bunch of chairs, dining room chairs, rocking chairs, painted chairs, chairs of all sorts. I have been a chair specialist for the last two weeks. Here is my photo as the king of chairs and my court.

I am restoring an antique dressing table that has a beautiful mirror that needs restoration too. I use a local company called Antiqued Mirrors Company http://www.antiquedmirrors.com/. They have always done excellent work for me. The chemicals that are used in the process for re-silvering mirrors are difficult to obtain and work with. This company has been able to refresh even very old mirrors with unusual backgrounds and maintain the style of the glass while restoring it to new condition. I look forward to finishing this piece and sharing the before and after pictures.

I have been re-purposing some pieces to make them more functional in today's modern homes. I am working on a 1930 era radio cabinet and a cabinet that used to house a TV. It is always rewarding to salvage and re-purpose a beautiful piece from yesteryear into a functional and beautiful piece for today.

I have been working on restoring furniture and advertising my business. This has been an interesting journey as my confirmed status in the "technically challenged" group makes online advertising a bit of a stretch for me. Facebook has been very good to me so far. As a newbie I have only good things to say about it.
