Did you know, whenever I get a new machine I run a bunch of tests before I use it? Like, checking vibration, seeing how it feels in my hand, using it on latex, understanding it more in depth so that *I* can use it to its full capacity. I always do this so I know how to troubleshoot quickly when im working. As an artist, I see machines like paint brushes Each machine does something specific, make a specific effect. During procedure I’ll often use multiple machines becaus...e I want my artistry to flow, and I want my vision to come to life. Since I understand the capabilities and short comings of each machine, I’m able to use them to their full potential, making my artistry come alive! I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect machine for machine hairstrokes all summer, and I think I finally have it in the @amiea_international Supreme hand piece. The vibration is low like all the machines shown here, but what makes it special is that it’s weighted very evenly, that means it’s not too heavy or bottom heavy, your hand isn’t forced to work harder than it needs to, which can lead to hand fatigue and we don’t even want to go there I’m all about being ergonomic, which counts a lot when you’re seeing a lot of clients and doing lots of work, like any thing your tools (my hands and upper body) can get wear and tear. So I seek the best machines no matter their price range (from $70-$1300). I value the quality, not the price tag, but Im also NOT about getting ripped off. So my favorite machines for brows and liner is actually the @dragonhawkofficial Mast Magi! I have 2, one set at 2mm and one set at 3mm. I use a splitter to have full control over my artistry, so I can run both machines easily when needed. PRO TIP: if you buy 2, buy different colors and eventually you’ll memorize which machine is which stroke length so you don’t even have to think about it, you’ll hands will fly just like mine Do you have a favorite machine? Original: client had old lash line enhancement but one thicker than the other and faded. My job: even the original work, make it black again. I had to convert to my Signature Soft Liner bc the original lash line enhancement was more uneven and couldn’t stay a lash line enhancement if I was to fix it. I use various browns and blacks to create this look. I also made the tiniest, most petite wing to visually lift her eyes to a more pleasing shape and overall more wide eyed look. The verdict: I think I did a job, you wouldn’t even be able to tell she had any original uneven work!
