From one of our weekend drivers, Britt. - I really love running heavy equipment of any kind, including tow trucks. So i have been covering shifts on the weekend for Brothers Towing( i used to work for them a few years ago). Most of towing is straightforward and boring. But i love the that the boss trust me enough to let me tow things that are difficult. I love the challenge when someone says, "you can't do that". This trailer took me an hour to load because of the missing wheel/broken axle decreased the clearance to the ground. I was able to load and unload it without causing any further damage to it. Towing a weekend warrior trailer. They are big and bulky, but totally doable on a flatbed. You just have to have patience and drive slow. Oh, and dump any water they may have on board.

Now these kind of unusual mishaps are fun to solve. The trash truck broke its lifting arm at the pivot point. We had to lift the arm up but also at the same time rotate it from the front part. This was the only way we could line up to where it came apart. When you are in the field and you never know what you will encounter, you use what you have...

A kid texting while driving down a small side street drifted to the right and clipped the back of this pick up. The truck was totalled.

This concrete pumper was one heavy ass pig. But we got it done...
