Depending on cost and availability it's not always possible to go full organic. The next best thing would be to buy only organic for fruits and veggies that have soft skins and have a higher rate of absorption and retention for pesticides and chemical fertilizers (things like leafy greens, berries, etc.) Or just grow your own http://www.theage.com.au//organic-foods-backed-by-landmark

Today's Tip! I would suggest doing this with farmers market produce instead of grocery store produce. It's more likely to be organic and if it's grown locally the resulting plants have a higher rate of success in your climate! https://www.facebook.com/tastyvegetarian/videos/1831668737095008/

SOS! Save our Sage... looks like our little sage plant has come down with a fungal outbreak. There are several options commercially available, though the number decreases if you are looking for something simple and organic that will keep it edible. So I though I would do some simple home experiments with things I have readily available. I marked two sides of the plant and will treat half with tea tree oil (T), a known and effective anti fungal, and half with a 10% hydrogen peroxide dilution (H), known to address cobweb mold in mushroom grow operations. I will treat daily and update with best results of any. If neither is helpful we will try out some organic commercial options and provide reviews.
