Treatment is just the beginning of ones journey through recovery. Hopefully by the end of your stay at Broadway we will have taught you how to maintain your sobriety throughout the course of your life. Anyone can get clean and sober, however very few are educated enough as to what it takes to maintain it. At Broadway Treatment Center our main objective is to insure that you never have to come back to treatment ever again. Unless of course it's too share your story.

There is nothing easy about recovery, especially after leaving the safety and structure of treatment. There is a prodigious amount of work yet to be done (one day at a time, of course). Shortcuts have cost the lives of more people in early recovery than just about anything else. Our time in treatment is only but a beginning, there are more steps we must take in order to build a sustainable foundation. The time of the quick fix is over.

When was the last time you tried something for the first time? Even in recovery we get used to what's familiar and often get stuck in grooves of patterned behavior. In recovery we often say that nothing grows in our comfort zone. To stay in recovery for the long haul, we must embrace change. We must be the change agent of our own recovery in order to survive the certain challenges and low spots ahead. There's a beautiful life just beyond your comfort zone! Welcome home...

The Brain Injury Association of America estimates, for every fatal overdose, there may be five nonfatal overdoses, many of which go unreported. Those nonfatal overdoses have several long-term impacts, one of which is brain injury or impairment.

We don’t know how long we’ll need to sit on our sofas and watch Netflix. But for those in recovery, AA and other 12 step meetings are still essential for staying alive.

Amy's last words (pictured)... Addictive disorders do not care what you want, how talented you are, or what you have to offer the world. Most of us who have untreated addictive disorders live in darkness and die the same way... Needlessly. There's nothing cool or Shakespearean about it. Please get help today!
