On 09/11/2020 at approximately 7:30pm, Broadmoor Officers contacted an individual on the corner of 87th and Washington in Broadmoor for a county ordinance violation. A records check revealed this individual to be on County probation with a search clause. During the search Broadmoor Officers recovered multiple financial documents and personal checks not in the suspects name. All victims are from San Francisco . Broadmoor Officers possibly prevented additional victims in our... district. Mail theft is on the rise and we want our community to be aware of this ongoing trend. If you see anyone suspicious in your area please call 911. With the help of our community and the Officers of Broadmoor PD, we can prevent you from being a victim.

Parking Enforcement Message From Chief Connolly On behalf of Chief Connolly, the following parking enforcement update is now in effect. Due to a significant rise in complaints about parking and traffic issues, the Broadmoor Police Department will engage in a sustained education and enforcement program. The ultimate purpose is to correct the behavior of the violators to the best ability of our agency and through community responsiveness. Here are a few examples:... On rolled curbed sidewalks where a violation of a parked vehicle obstructs 50% of more of the sidewalk, an educational Notice of Violation shall be written and placed upon the vehicle. If an officer conducts a registration check and discovers the resident to live in the location, an attempt should be made to contact that resident and inform them of the violation and the need to provide adequate access on the sidewalk to remedy the parking violation. If an officer observes the violation, and they are not committed to some other service call, they will make every effort to engage in an educational outreach program. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know.
