Through their Operation Family Caregiver (OFC) program their reach is Nationwide! Yes, SCRC works with caregivers of service members, both active and veteran, ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES! OFC is a free confidential support program for careg...ivers of service members or veterans with symptoms of PTSD, TBI, and/or physical disabilities. The OFC program teaches a problem-solving model where caregivers explore a current challenge and develop different solutions to overcome it. The program focuses heavily on the importance of self-care. Scientific evidence has proven learning a positive problem-solving orientation leads to better health outcomes and empowerment.
