As the concerns regarding the Corona Virus (COVID-19) continue to rise, we wanted to share some thoughts and information on how we as a school are handling the situation. I would also like to offer encouragement on how we as individuals can respond to the pandemic in a way that continues to the solutions and does not perpetuate the problem. First, a word about what we are doing to prepare and take precautions at the preschool. We are still holding preschool at regularly sched...uled times. We will continue to be diligent as always in providing a safe environment for our preschoolers. We will continue to follow standard CDC health protocols by not admitting any child to attend with an elevated temperature of 100 F or higher. We ask that all children are fever-free without fever reducing medication for 48 hours before returning to preschool at this time. We will not be giving any over the counter medications. We ask that every person entering the center wash their hands. We will adhere to the California Department of Public Healths (CDPH) guidance for schools on COVID-19 when evaluating whether to close or remain open. As of now we will remain open unless ordered by local, state federal authorities with emergency jurisdiction to do so. If your child will not be attending the center at this time please contact us. Miss Beckie's class had two special birthdays in our class today. We want to wish both of them a Happy Happy Birthday Abigail and Keyana. We love you both.
