If you take the "it is working philosophy and does not need preventative maintenance on equipment", please learn the basic maintenance you should be preforming and things to watch for (that could become a bigger problem), from a professional. Get to know your equipment and "if it looks different, sounds different or smells different" please have it inspected.

Do you have equipment set to maximize energy savings? There are small adjustments that could result in big savings.

Mosquitoes! Do you have places on your property collecting water to give them breeding grounds? Check, dump, drain.

Do you have electrical outlets that are not working, cracked or loose in the wall. Please have them checked, before they become a bigger problem.

When bringing things into your facility that have been in storage or outside, check for unwanted "hitch hikers".

Do you keep your knives and tools sharp? Keeping them sharp makes them easier to use and is safer.

Trying to keep customers coming in requires you to keep things new and exciting. Doing this usually involves items, that will then be stored. When storing items, because space is usually limited, be careful not to block safety equipment (fire extinguishers), fire lanes, refrigeration equipment, etc. Make sure things are stacked and stored safely.

Do you have reach-in coolers? Is the condenser clean and not restricted?

Do you have problems with equipment and don't know where to start troubleshooting things you can check? Add lights to show where the problem is.
