Did you know that there are two recent special education cases regarding services in the time of school closures due to COVID restrictions where the parent/student prevailed? California Public Health Officials Release Guidance for Small Supervised Groups of Children Date: August 25, 2020

"The Department of Education, under secretary Betsy DeVos, had come up with an interpretation of CARES Act aid that directed money intended for disadvantaged public school students to private schools instead. Friday, a Washington state judge issued a stern injunction to stop the DeVos rule from being implemented."
