RECEIVING IN POWER - Feels like a different lifetime, eh? It’ll happen again one day, but in the mean time we’re still working out how to do this a whole new way. Church, but not together. ... What we’re missing (as well as your faces, or the sound of lots of people praising god, and the pre-service snacks) is experiencing the presence of the spirit together in power and doing church without it suuuuuucks. But obviously were not without him, he is still able to do every single thing we know he can do. So we’re going to give zoom prayer ministry a go this Sunday. Everything the same: you worship, you ask god to speak to you and fill you with his presence, then at the end we do one-on-one prayer ministry. We’ve got a team, just like we would at a service, ready to listen and prophecy and ask for god to meet you with power to heal and renew and deliver and provide. The only catch for you? You’ve gotta watch it live. So tune in at 10:30. And give this a go. #haventyouevertriedzoomprayerministry? #breadchurchla #watchontime See more

MEDITATION ALERT - We made one purely for nodding off! Sweet sleep is much-needed for many of us right now, so next time it eludes you, give this breath-focussed guided meditation podcast a go. It will take you through a process of releasing tension, towards disconnecting from your busy mind and sinking into rest. Up on the site (and Apple podcast) now. -... #sweetsleep #insomniacalert #breadchurchla See more

On this, the biggest day in the Christian calendar, it’s kind of wild to think of all the empty seats in empty churches around the world today. But in another light, this day is all about empty things: An empty tomb and the empty claim that death ever had the final word. We certainly don’t need church buildings to celebrate that! Join us at 10:30am (link in bio)... whoever you are, however you are, whatever you are, you really are welcome. #heisrisen
