A friend reach out in asking for help in supporting our neighbors in Santa Cruz. If you see anything you can help please reach out. We cleared out a lot of extra inventory, 2000 disaposble mask, and cases of hanitizer. Please read below if you can help. Emeline Donation Center for Fire Relief in Santa Cruz. The center is currently set up to aid individuals and families who were displaced from the CZU fire (but they will aid anyone in need). The center (1082 Emeline Ave Sant...a Cruz 95060) is in immediate need of volunteers as well as certain supplies. To volunteer, sign up at www.scvolunteercenter.org or [email protected]. The shifts are four hours long, but honestly, I would have stayed all day. I believe this particular site is slated to be open for only one month. On their website, it states that a registered volunteer needs to be a Santa Cruz County resident, but they are now currently accepting support from all counties. In addition, the Civic Center in downtown Santa Cruz is also in need of volunteers. Additionally, the Emeline Donation Center is in need of certain supplies. The need changes daily as you can imagine, but this is the current list of items that are depleated. Unknown-1.jpeg Specifically, I noticed there was a larger need for: Duffle bags Backpacks Any large bag that is not paper Men’s shoes size 10 and up Men’s coats large or extra-large Men’s hoodies Children’s shoes Sleeping bags Please keep in mind that they are only excepting NEW clothing, shoes, and supplies due to Covid restrictions. Please also take note that the donation center is closed on Sundays.
