Branches OC

This is a beautiful recap of what it can look like to call people together, away from the distractions, the push and the pull of our typical rhythm of life. The Gathering of the Church, the Branches, is our attempt to create a space where we can Love God and Love People. This last Sunday we did this through music, prayer, bringing donations for the foster teens of Olive Crest, writing letters to these beautiful kids, and then assembling these baskets with gifts (gift cards for clothes and shoes, socks, candy, etc.) celebrating the resurrection of Jesus - New life. Love God. Love People.

3/ 14 The passage from Phil 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength" is misinterpreted and twisted too often to emphasize "I can." We have an invitation to live from Him. So, why do we settle for what we can make happen on our own?

How does our experience of eternal life help us transcend our present circumstances?

Easter baskets! We are purchasing and assembling Easter baskets for teens @olive.crest this month. We hope you can join us on Sunday the 21st to help out and learn more about what Olive Crest is doing to help our communities.
