I first want to say that I am grateful, humbled amd appreciative of the client base that God has blessed me with. Truly! I am blessed Today, I'm home and trying to move very little. It's also a different kind of day, I could feel it in my spirit when I woke up (early early) As the day started, nid-morning I received a call and something told me to answer it (most ALL of my clients know that it's rare I pick up a call working/or not) but I will when needed. I pick up and ...rgencaller asks for me amd immediately goes in to say he was "referred by Joan, she's my cousin, and I like the way you do ALLLLL of the families hair amd I'm HOPING to get an appt to re-twist my locs" and I just laughed I'll stop there to say that I was able to schedule him (I accepted a new client at the Corona location as he's a family referral) Now the thing is when we hung up I ended up in a conversation with Joan, unplanned instead divine. @ebnaoje I am so thankful for you. I sat back today realize that I have been providing services to you just under 2 years and you've trusted your family to me and that speaks to my heart. As of today, you've referred seven of your loved one's. I hadn't understood the magnitude of a referral like this one here...I want to thank you my beautiful client friend amd bless you with a free styling session, your pick!!! This isn't about me trying to grow my clientele (God see's to it that I'm covered) ots just to recognize a woman who has trusted me, many times over, refers amd they all keep coming back

Oh my goodness! I came across this pic from 8 years ago. At that point I had been relaxing my hair for 37 years. I had never been a press 'n' curl type and honestly relaxing it myself was easy and I didn't have to worry about going to a salon because I kept my hair in a ponytail. I can say that I do not miss my straight hair. Although I made sure my scalp was oiled and strands moisturized, there was alot of shedding. I would relax my hair every 4 weeks (not 6) because as my hair grew my edges wouldn't lay and it wasn't as easy to get it smooth as I liked it (bone straight) I've nothing against straight hair, I just really enjoy my natural hair better

Unfortunately, I will be discontinuing this service. My experience has shown me there are other protective styles that are proven to be more beneficial and therefore I've made the decision to drop this service which includes extensions (added hair) I will still do corn rows but for natural hair styles only #naturalhaironly... #naturalhaircare #protectivestyles #naturalhairprofessional #naturalhaorstylists See more
