I know - I know! When we are in high-conflict coparenting situations this TESTS us to the core. But when we try, God helps us do more ... You've got this #BraidedFamilies - YES, you do! From my heart, Tricia Powe Coparenting & Stepfamily Life Mediator - Strategist

A friend sent this clip today and so I now share it with you! The world is a bit chaotic, isn’t it? But God ... He knows your fears, concerns, pain, hope, and the truest qualities of your faith and mine! He makes us stronger than we even realize in the midst of stuff... It often is not until we are down the road a bit and we look back that we see how wonderful He was in our trials. ... Stay in the written Word! He will not let us down WHEN we trust His omniscience above our own limited knowledge and understanding of others! Be blessed as you seek Him first! Friends, do not allow the crazy days we are in fuel worry. Cast your fears upon Him. He can carry all our burdens and fears. In Titus we are told to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. This is hard for those co-raising kids through parental conflict or with children unaccepting of divorce and remarriage. It is a real loss to them having parents in two places instead of one.... They cannot see the reasons, nor should they necessarily know. They are young. Let your good reasons and walk with God be enough to maintain your peace so that you can help them with developing theirs. God hasn't said you must be a doormat either. Laying down to be a peacemaker is only going to build up resentment and fuel misunderstanding, allowing misbeliefs to linger. Speak the truth in love, and at an age-appropriate level. The link below is a commonly used "Five Ps for Classroom Expectations" chart. Try and adapt this to your household to make transitions easier. You can change the letters for words you prefer. The point is that you offer > support for the expectations you have < to make your household work well. In our home, we had the first letter of the fruits of the Spirit on the refrigerator door, near the handle as a reminder of growth goals and a way to family peace. Be creative. Have fun. If your children are older, include them in the brainstorming process. Be open to their suggestions. From my heart to yours, Tricia https://www.matsuk12.us//Domain/3450/Classroom%20Expectati
