Had to shoot an audition a couple of days ago doing card flourishes. I don’t do a lot of cardistry but wish I did. I see it as similar to mentalism because the best flourishes like the best mentalism pieces are real. Cardistry is genuine, it takes skill, it’s awe inspiring and in that way it’s magic.
