The position requires active collaboration with other members of the Technical Services Team, with responsibility and ownership of satisfying inbound clients' service requests at the help desk. This dynamic ...and engaging role involves diagnosis and troubleshooting in a variety of IT disciplines including, but not limited to cloud services, workstations, servers, networks, and printers. Essential Skills and Requirements Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft server services including: AD, DNS, DHCP, File and Print Services, etc Experience with basic troubleshooting of workstation hardware Experience with Windows 7 and newer Microsoft operating systems Experience with Microsoft Office suite, and other core Microsoft business applications Familiarity with Microsoft and Google Cloud Email Administration Intermediate knowledge of networking fundamentals - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, familiar with fundamentals of configuring various vendors routers, firewalls, VPNs, and switches Familiarity with Virtualization technologies Intermediate knowledge of enterprise server hardware technologies Detail orientated documentation management - Knowledge Bases, Wiki's, How-to's, Recurring Issues Communication and expectation management with customers - progress of open incidents, impending changes, or agreed outages Duties and Responsibilities Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction Quick turnaround time for service request resolutions Escalate service requests to higher tier engineers as required Ability to work in a team, and hyper-communicate with team effectively Responsible for entering tickets, time, and expenses as they occur Knowledge and Abilities Required Able to delegate service requests to team members under pressure or during periods of heavy service request load Resourcefulness of undocumented issues using search engines such as Google, and to update documentation system as required Detailed oriented - able to take detailed notes, communications, and problem resolution steps Observant; able to see and take action on observed issues with customer environments, as well as see opportunities for upgrades/replacements Willingness and eagerness to learn quickly Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Minimum of 4 years of IT related work experience and/or formal training (college, technical schools, etc) combined, but a minimum of 2 years must come from work experience. First and foremost, we are looking for someone with superior customer service who is passionate about technology and a desire to excel at what they are asked to do. It’s all about the people. Supporting technology has very little to do with the computers and components. If you’re not learning and trying to understand how your customers are using the technology and then helping them create an environment where the machines complement their processes then you are doing it wrong my friends. Ouch this is not looking good my friends. Spectrum reports that repairs and troubleshooting continues and the third party carrier is exploring options to re-route traffic. Repair crews may not be able to access the site until Tuesday- July 24, 2018 due to hazardous conditions. There is no available ETR.
