KidZone Museum is delighted to announce that the Truckee Donner Recreation and Parks District has provided land at Truckee River Regional Park for their new, 12,000-square-foot Museum and Science Center. The Park also has a parcel reserved for the Truckee Library. Placer County’s Free Covid-19 testing site has moved from Kings Beach to Town of Truckee and is now located at 10990 Donner Pass Road. We are hopeful that this new site location will increase accessibility for more residents in the region and will increase our testing numbers. Every year, Gallup conducts a survey of Americans to determine their choice for the best long-term investment. For the seventh year in a row, real estate has come out on top as the best long-term investment. Gallup explained, Real estate remains the most favored investment to Americans, as has been the case since 2013, when the housing market was on the rebound.
