Spirit is a young doe just starting to come into herself, and is the only daughter of *B South-Fork Bon A Venture who has been appraised so far, scoring VV+V 87 as a yearling. She was sick on this year's picture day, so I snapped a quick candid photo of her yesterday, though she's very nearly dried off.... As I realize how many does I'll be freshening in 2021, I also start to realize that I probably don't need all of these 2020 doe kids... 2020 Fall Breeding Season is nearly over! Everyone I wanted bred has been, and now it's just waiting to see who cycles back. The clump of 2020 kids that aren't bred yet will likely be fall fresheners. I sent blood samples in on the first 3 does this week for pregnancy checks and CAE. I'll be getting the whole herd's CAE tests done this fall as well, probably broken up into groups to run with pregnancy at the same time.

Collection date is set for Oct. 3 for *B South-Fork Bon A Venture!! We'll be collecting however many straws he'll give us! Straws are available at a pre-collection discount of 5/$100. Instead of advertising with a selection of his best daughters, I've attached photos of EVERY SINGLE DAUGHTER who he's produced for me, or who has resided in the herd long enough to have a photo taken! I don't think I left anyone out, but if I find any more, I'll add them in the comments! I do not yet have a shipper tank, but I'll be storing his straws at Rocky Mountain Sires, and they can be shipped from their facility. After falling a year behind, the website is finally up-to-date! The mobile version still needs a little work, and I'd like to add more photos to individual doe pages, but all of the important information is on there now, including this fall's breeding schedule! There a lot of exciting AI's planned, and I'm hoping to have just as high of a success rate with the AI breedings this year as I did last year!
