A SHOUT OUT AND THANKS TO RUSS LOPEZ! Russ Lopez is a former professional dart champion who was sponsored by Walt Bottelsen in the late 80's and early 90's. He competed widely, winning major tournaments in the U.S. as well as Europe. During his career in the United States Air Force he was not only allowed but encouraged to compete in major tournaments nationwide and in Europe when he was stationed there. Russ has been friends with Walt Bottelsen for over 30 years and came to ...visit the Santa Maria facility. Russ has used Bottelsen darts for decades. He tested for us and loves the Shark Skins X, the newest innovation of our Shark Skins sandpaper grip which will come in 5 new colors: red, blue, green, purple and black, and is more durable and grippier.
