HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY from our women-owned & women-run business. We’re smaller than ever right now, but are more grateful than ever for our lady leadership... and could not be more exited to rebuild (and bring more exceptional women into the fold while doing so)!
Psyched to announce our collab with @eatIGC (launching in LA today!!). We adapted one of our brunch favorites a shakshuka made with heirloom beans, spigarello and feta in vibrant tomatillo salsa to your home freezer! It’s one of our favorite things to serve for a hearty brunch (with eggs baked on top and garlicky toast on the side), but equally marvelous for dinner! Find it for sale, along with dishes from an awesome lineup of LA spots, from www.eatIGC.com. (Quantities a...re limited and on sale for one week only, so snag yours before they’re gone!) Each meal is delivered to your doorstep in an oven-safe, reusable container. Once you're done, @eatIGC picks up your used containers so they can be used again and again. Just some local liquid goldin the market from Sabrina of @shearrockfarms. Her single-varietal oils are our favorite for drizzling, finishing & any dish where the flavor of the oil can really shine through.
We were all set for an extra-special NYE & NYD and then... Covid happened! One of our team received a positive test and we decided to shut down immediately for the safety of our staff. We are a very small business right now down to 10 employees from our pre-Covid 55. For our team to safely quarantine after potential exposure, we have to shut our kitchen which, yes, means ruining NYE dinner plans for dozens of you, and scrapping the NYD brunch our team has worked hard on a...nd looked forward to. Such is life as an independent restaurant owner in the time of Covid. We’ll be back as soon as we safely can. In the interim, please consider donating to @regardingherfood, a non-profit that’s developing a grant program for women-owned restaurants battered by the pandemic. Hundreds of rounds of laffa & many many glasses of orange wine later, we’re at the end of our first week of outdoor dining! Exciting news! We’re opening up for outdoor dining on Wednesday, 10/7! We cannot wait to welcome you to our natural wine garden, with seating on our back patio and around the perimeter of our building, a menu of small plates (Kabob Party highlights + more!), and a KILLER natural wine list. Reservations will be available Wednesday - Sunday, 5pm - 8pm (and our menu will be available as seat yourself, table service situation from noon-5, too). *** We’ll be taking every precaution, and then some, to ensure the safety and comfort of our staff and our guests.
