This funny, touching, two person play about a lifelong friendship told entirely through letters taking them and the audience from second grade, through adolescence, maturity, and into middle age. In celebration of composer Frederic Chopin's 207th birthday, pianist Jennifer Goodenberger will present a concert entitled Chopin at the Movies on Wednesday, February 22 at 7:30 at the Borrego Springs Performing Arts Center. The concert is a benefit for the Borrego Springs Film Festival. Following the concert, birthday cake will be served in the lobby. Tickets are available at Bighorn Fudge, The Chamber of Commerce or theater box office the night of the performance. Jennife...r has been engaging audiences as a concert pianist, composer, and ensemble pianist for over 40 years. She has a Master's Degree in Music Composition, and is the author of Subject Guide to Classical Instrumental Music, published by Scarecrow Press. She currently has an active performing career, and enjoys creating concerts to fit specific concepts. As a composer, Jennifer's original works range from deeply healing and spiritual compositions to passionate and romantic creations.
