From Bob Mitchell ...a synopsis from Bob Mitchell ..Diane Mitchell married to Bob Mitchell ,son's Vincent Mitchell and Robby Mitchell mitchell the whole thin...g started 14 years ago when she was diagnosed with uterine and ovarian cancer by the grace of God she survived the cancer and was doing well till two years ago when she was diagnosed with cryptogenic cirrhosis of the liver which means hidden origin and because she was never a drinker or never had hepatitis they speculate it had to be the past chemotherapy that caused her health issues now the last year has been an uphill battle she had to retire from her job as a waitress at Knotts Berry Farm due to needing knee Replacements on both knees not long after she started having problems with her liver she developed it varisis problems in her soficus those are blood pockets in her Airway which would take her life if they were to break open so they started doing a procedure of putting her asleep just like surgery and we're putting bands on them to form scar tissue to fight the possibility of having one of them rupture and bleed out she had this done four times in the past year after her second procedure she had a melanoma surgery taking a silver dollar size chunk off her head with a skin graft off her leg two weeks after that they did two more procedures four weeks apart the band has worked so far thank God now out of nowhere her liver has gotten larger and is spent half of this month in UCI Medical Center her liver is having a hard time filtering the poisons such as ammonia by the grace of God she is slightly better now but insurance won't help the Mitchells with a caregiver when she eventually goes home the donations from her friends and loved ones will go towards getting her a caregiver and help pay for the ever mounting medical bills . she will be put on a liver transplant list shortly .prayers are appreciated See more
