Division 2 (Healthcare Licensees) Continuing Education and Examination Waiver Extension allows licenses expiring between October 1, 2021, and October 31, 2021, six extra months from the date of the order to complete continuing education in order to renew their licenses. A renewal must still be submitted before the expiration date. Click here for the waiver: https://www.dca.ca.gov/licensees/dca_21_194.pdf Global Examination Eligibility Extension (Last Extension) extends prior waiver by 30 days to applications expiring between October 1, 2021, and October 31, 2021, and extends their eligibility to take examinations by six extra months, as discussed in the waiver. The Board of Psychology has filed a Public Notice of Proposed Regulatory Action with the Office of Administrative Law. This proposed regulatory action Changes the continuing education guidelines and requirements that must be completed by licensed psychologists from the Continuing Education (CE) model to the broader Continuing Professional Development (CPD) model. The public comment period begins on October 2, 2020 and ends on November 16, 2020. Question: What is the #2020Census Update Leave operation? Answer: It is the hand-delivery of Census forms to primarily rural households and it has been on pause due to the pandemic. The @USCensusBureau announced it is reopening deliveries in California. Households included in the Update Leave operation will have a Census questionnaire left at the front door along with instructions about how to respond.
