Living at the BCLT in a secure and nice dwelling, at a affordable price, has been a crucial piece in my growth on many levels and I am grateful forever to the BCLT for that. - Emmeline Craig, tenant of 14 years, and board member for a year this winter!

Check out this old photo of downtown Bolinas. Isn’t it incredible to see how much has changed and at the same time, how much has stayed the same? There’s Tarantino’s in the background, now the downtown park!

65% of BCLT tenants are part of the Bolinas and Stinson workforce. We house small business owners, landscapers, restaurant and grocery staff, trades workers, teachers, artists, house cleaners, pet sitters and more. The BCLT currently houses two of the four BCPUD service employees. Pictured above is Andrew, he is one of the water district’s staff members who responds to water leaks and all water related calls for Bolinas residents, he is an essential worker on any given day but especially during the current water shortage and during fire season. We are proud to help people like Andrew have secure housing while working so hard for the Bolinas Community!

The BCLT has been hosting a book club for several months focused on racial justice and equity in our community. We are currently starting our third book and will hold our next meeting November 2 at 7pm over zoom. If you are interested in participating in community based conversations about equity and social justice we encourage you to join us! This year the BCLT has nearly doubled our current tenants, growing from 21 to 37 residential tenants! With another 5 projects in various stages of development, our work is having a greater impact than ever before and we couldn’t be more excited to see the progress!
