So unfortunately for this customer, he took his truck to a shop and had his clutch replaced, replaced some leaking gaskets and a bad gear on his front engine cover and was told he got a valve adjustment. He made it about 500 miles then had to get his rig towed in to us. He was recommended to us by a friend of his. He had a rattling noise in his front end because gears weren’t torqued correctly and gear lash was to tight, they used silicon and the same old gaskets, put a old s...tyle low torque rebuilt clutch and completely messed up his valve adjustment. Had a hard clutch pedal as soon as he left that shop, wasted twice as much fuel in those 500 miles and had a worse oil leak then before. Oh and for some reason they cut off the flywheel guide pin off the back of his crankshaft which is used for timing. We got it all sorted for him but it’s guys like that that give mechanics and shops a bad wrap. We’re not gonna pretend like we’re the best shop around and know one works better. There’s a lot of great mechanics out there. I will say we are definitely honest and up front with our customers. The point is to get them to come back and hopefully tell a friend about the quality of work we do. Recommending us is the best compliment you can give us. We got a new customer today. He came in to get some repairs that were found during a 90 Day inspection (which we also do). We replaced leaking steer axle shocks with #Monroe Magnum shocks & 5th wheel top plate had play so we replaced the mounting bushings. While he was here we also did an oil change with #Fleetguard filters & #ChevronDelo 15W-40 motor oil. Got him in and out quick so he can get back out on the road! @ B & N Truck Repair

Customer brought in this #FreightlinerM2 to get caught up on some much needed maintenance and transmission problems. We got the #Eaton transmission rebuilt, we’re baking the DPF & DOC which got clogged up due to a leaking exhaust bellow and last an oil change. Out with the old and in with the new. We had excessive pressure in the cooling system. Found out the problem was a worn cylinder block. We made a quick call to @da_boreman and got it back to #OEM specs.
