Reminds me of the song "Should I stay or should I go" :) I redo BMWs. I have been through this one, replaced all the fluids and filters, put a new clutch assembly in, new main seal and transmission seals (external), new brake pads, new plugs, new battery, and new fork seals. In short, all the "consumable " parts. I also replaced the headlight lens since it was cracked. Replacing the headlight lens requires that all the forward body panels be removed and this leads me to "Shou...ld I stay or should I go" . If you are looking to build a scrambler, bobber or cafe racer this is a great starting point and I will sell it for $1500. That is with or without the panels (loose or installed). The panels are ok but they do have 30+ years of wear on them. If I can't sell it then I will repair the dings and repaint. In the spring it will be $2500. The one dressed photo is how it will look with new paint If you want a bobber donor then $1500. If you want a new paint job then $2500 now and you can chose your color. Option #2 will require a deposit since you get to pick the color.
